- Contract until June 2027 with a possibility of extension
- Attractive hourly pay rate of $42.90 - $70.80 per hour + super
- Working 35 – 40 hours per week
- Hybrid work arrangement (WFH + Parramatta office)

Purpose of the role: This role will be responsible to develop and deliver sustainability, climate change and net zero emissions program projects across business, government, and/or household sectors which are effective, innovative and meet priority objectives while demonstrating valuable value for public expenditure. The role also contributes to the development, monitoring, improvement and evaluation of programs.

Key Accountabilities:

- Develop and deliver elements of program design aligned to government policies and priorities, including research and analysis, input to business cases and project plans, implementing appropriate governance, identifying resources, and meeting reporting requirements to ensure program design meets the target audiences’ needs and supports efficient and timely delivery of outcomes.
- Deliver projects, identifying interdependencies and risks and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Deliver monitoring, research and evaluation projects to support evidence-based program planning, improvement and strategic decision-making to meet the needs of target audiences.
- Scope,



procure and manage contracts for timely and cost-effective projects to deliver program objectives.
- Support the management of stakeholder relationships throughout the program lifecycle through effective communication and record keeping ensuring project, program and portfolio objectives are met.
- Represent the department on a range of forums to provide analysis and advice on operational activities ensuring consistency with government policy and legislative requirements.

Essential requirements:

- Knowledge of the operational requirements for the successful delivery of sustainability, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions programs.
- Project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards, and demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
