About the role
We are seeking a Property Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team on a full-time basis at our Ashmore office in Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and utilise your property law expertise in a collaborative and professional environment. As a Property Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal advice and services to our clients across a range of property-related matters.
This position offers the chance to work on diverse and interesting cases whilst building your professional reputation within the property law sector.
Key responsibilities
- Advising clients on residential and commercial property transactions, including purchases, sales, and leasing arrangements
- Conducting property due diligence, searches, and title investigations
- Drafting and reviewing property-related legal documents, agreements, and contracts
- Managing property conveyancing matters from initial instructions through to settlement
- Providing guidance on property disputes, including boundary matters and easements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and regulations
- Liaising with real estate agents, financial institutions,
and other stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate file management and client communication records
- Supporting clients with property-related tax and financial planning considerations where appropriate
What we're looking for
- Admitted as a legal practitioner with a current practising certificate
- Proven experience in property law practice
- Strong knowledge of property conveyancing, real estate transactions, and property legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Proficiency in legal research and legal practice management software
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Professional judgment and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in residential and commercial conveyancing is highly desirable
- Robust client service orientation and commitment to delivering practical legal solutions
