Purchasing Manager, Fast Growing E-commerce Retailer

We're seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing across domestic and international markets. This is a great opportunity to bring senior level supply chain expertise into a business that's scaled quickly and is actively investing in the experience to match its next phase of growth.

You'll lead a small, established team and work closely with senior leadership to shape the function going forward.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives across multiple international markets
- Source, evaluate and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal value and quality
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution and continuous improvement
- Prepare and analyse purchasing reports,



forecasts and vendor performance metrics to support decision making
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with operations to ensure adequate stock availability
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance procurement processes
- Oversee supplier quality management and ensure adherence to specifications and delivery schedules

About You

- Strong experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management, furniture, bulky goods or manufacturing background well regarded
- Strong understanding of international supply chains, ideally spanning across major international markets
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and build collaborative supplier partnerships
- Proficiency in purchasing systems and ERP software
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a fast paced, hands on team environment
- Formal supply chain qualifications valued but not essential where solid hands on experience is demonstrated
