BASE CHINCHILLA is currently seeking an experienced chef with exceptional customer service looking for the opportunity to showcase their passion for cooking in the meals they prepare for our clients.

You will contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide the home away from home feeling our clients appreciate.

Your role will include but is not limited to hands-on service for bulk and or buffet style cooking for Breakfast, Crib and Dinner.

A solid knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures and protected work practices is imperative. Cleanliness and professional presentation is extremely vital at all times.

DIDO – accommodation supplied if not local to Chinchilla

What are we looking for?

Individuals that remain focused in a busy environment, handle pressure well and possess the following qualifications:

· Australian Citizen,



Permanent Resident or unrestricted work rights

· Trade Certificate or Certificate III in commercial Cookery is essential

· International qualifications considered and will be assessed as part of the shortlisting process

· Preferably experience cooking for large numbers, ideally production / bulk / banquet cooking

· Flexibility to work across various rosters

· Police Clearance or willing to obtain

· A strong commitment to high standards of customer service and integrity
