We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to support the purchasing function of a major organisation based in Kwinana.
Hours: Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP start
Length: 3 months - depending on client requirements
Hourly rate: $62.00 p/h + Super depending on experience The Role This opportunity would suit a purchasing professional with strong systems capability who can confidently manage purchasing activities within a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchasing transactions
- Create, maintain and follow up purchase orders
- Ensure purchasing information is entered accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding purchasing requirements
- Monitor outstanding purchasing activities and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement position
- Hands-on purchasing experience using Oracle E-Business Suite and/or SAP S/4HANA
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy environment
