This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our procurement operations and ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and services. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing procurement processes, and contributing to the overall operational success of our organisation. Key Responsibilities

- Process/raise and follow-through of purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Build strong relationships ensuring clear and solid communication lines between vendors and the company
- Negotiating terms, pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve best value for money
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices and supplier information in procurement systems
- Tracking shipments and following up on delivery dates to ensure timely receipt of goods
- Assisting with inventory management and coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams
- Resolving discrepancies and managing returns or disputes with suppliers




- Adhering to company policies, procedures and compliance requirements in all purchasing activities

About You

- You must be proactive and detail driven
- Experience within a purchasing role is desirable
- Strong communication skills and able to build relationships
- Able to prioritise competing deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn
