Role Description The QA Analyst / Software QA Tester is a part-time remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of engineering and software tools used within industrial projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing functional requirements, designing and executing manual test cases, validating results against specifications, and documenting findings in a explicit and structured way. The role involves performing quality assurance and quality control checks on applications and data flows, identifying defects, tracking them through resolution, and collaborating with engineers and developers to continuously improve system performance.

The QA Analyst / Software QA Tester will also contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, participate in test planning, and support regression and acceptance testing for new features and updates.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and assess test results.




- Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes within software or engineering environments.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing and designing, executing, and maintaining clear and reusable Test Cases.
- Ability to write structured test documentation, defect reports, and quality metrics using common tools (e.g., spreadsheets, issue trackers).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and collaboration with technical teams (e.g., engineers, developers, project managers).
- Comfort working in remote, cross-cultural teams and managing tasks independently with attention to detail.
- Background or studies in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Working knowledge of industrial processes, energy efficiency, or sustainability-focused projects is a plus.
- English proficiency for technical documentation; Spanish or Italian skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
