Role Description This full-time remote QA Tester / Junior QA Tester role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications used and shared within the community and partner projects. The role includes executing test cases, performing manual testing, and documenting defects and issues in a clear and structured way. The QA Tester will collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve maintaining test documentation, participating in review meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing.
- Candidates should possess skills in designing and maintaining Test Cases.




- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for identifying defects and patterns.
- Candidates should possess foundational Quality Assurance knowledge and understanding of QA processes.
- Basic familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and defect tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Interest in learning new testing tools and methodologies; prior exposure to Microsoft technologies is a plus.
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
