About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team at Bossco Building and Maintenance in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane. As a Qualified Carpenter, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional carpentry services and home modifications to our clients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and ensuring client satisfaction on every project.

Key responsibilities

- Executing carpentry work including framing, finishing, installation and repairs on residential and commercial projects
- Measuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials with precision to meet project specifications
- Installing doors, windows, skirtings, architraves and other timber fixtures and fittings
- Installing home modifications across the NDIS and aged care industry
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, plans and specifications accurately
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, standards and safety regulations
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment on site
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, clients and other team members to ensure project requirements are understood and met




- Completing work within agreed timelines and budgets whilst maintaining high standards of quality

What we're looking for

- A current and valid carpentry qualification or apprenticeship certification recognised in Queensland
- Proven experience as a qualified carpenter, ideally with exposure to both residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of timber varieties, materials, tools and construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Physical fitness and ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to access multiple job sites
- Solid communication skills and a professional, reliable attitude
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety standards in Queensland is highly valued
