Quarry Boys Yerra is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

We’re a local, family-owned business looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work and knows their way around heavy machinery.

This is a hands-on role working on our quarry equipment (crushers / screeners / loaders / excavators)

We’re looking for someone who can get in, diagnose problems and keep our gear running.

Key responsibilities

- Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience working with heavy machinery
- Can confidently diagnose and repair faults
- Is reliable, practical and able to work independently
- Takes pride in looking after equipment properly
- Works well as part of a small, hard-working team & able to work along side other mechanics

Job Details

- Servicing and maintaining heavy machinery




- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults and breakdowns
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Working on excavators, loaders, crushers, screens and other quarry equipment
- Attending breakdowns and repairs around the site
- Keeping maintenance and service records up to date
- Helping keep our equipment reliable, safe and ready to work
