About the role

Exact Radiology is looking for an experienced and motivated Radiographer in Charge to join our Springfield practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a genuine difference not only through exceptional patient care and clinical expertise, but by supporting, developing and leading a high-performing team.

As Radiographer in Charge, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the practice, working closely with radiologists, radiographers and the wider team to ensure we consistently deliver an outstanding experience for our patients and referring clinicians.

As a valued member of our imaging team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Deliver and maintain a high-quality, efficient medical imaging service for patients and referrers.
- Coordinate, mentor, and supervise the radiography team.
- Develop and manage clinical rosters that support team wellbeing and service needs.
- Ensure safe, effective use of imaging equipment, promptly escalating issues when required.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, modality supervisors, admin staff, and upper management.




- Lead with empathy while overseeing daily operational management and customer service excellence.

Background and experience

- Current AHPRA registration and QLD Radiation Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- An experienced radiographer with strong clinical expertise.
- Approachable, self-managed, and committed to maintaining an inclusive environment.
- Excellent communicator with a patient-first mindset.
- Dedicated to continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture.
