About You You are an experienced financial services compliance lawyer with 4-6 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations. Your Experience & Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience providing legal and compliance support within a regulated financial services, banking or corporate environment
- Strong understanding of compliance obligations frameworks, regulatory change programmes and risk management practices
- Experience drafting, reviewing and maintaining obligations registers, compliance frameworks, policies, standards and associated governance documentation
- Experience working closely with risk, compliance, legal and business stakeholders to support the implementation of regulatory and compliance initiatives
- Ability to provide practical advice on legal, compliance and governance matters within a complex organisational environment
- Experience supporting project and transformation initiatives with multiple workstreams, stakeholders and competing priorities
- Understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks and obligations management processes would be highly regarded
- In-house banking, financial services or regulatory compliance experience would be advantageous
- Ability to manage a varied workload and contribute across multiple legal, compliance and project-related activities as business needs evolve
