About the Chance

A new opportunity within a growing business for a passionate AR/Collections Team Leader to come on board and support an Accounts receivable team during a time of change within the business. This role will initially be on a 3 month basis with the potential to extend and is suitable to an adaptable, enthusiastic individual.

Key responsibilities will include:

n

- Lead and coordinate a team of AR/Collections Officers.
n
- Oversee the review and reconciliation ofcustomer accounts.
n
- Manage escalated inbound/outbound queries.
n
- Ensure accounts are accurately reconciled and customer information is updated.
n
- Monitor progress and establish appropriate collection targets/KPIs as the project develops.
n
- Work closely with the ELT team, also closely partnering with operations, finance and transformation.
n
- Help develop and improve processes,



reporting and tools as the transformation progresses.
n
- Provide structure and direction to a team working through a highly fluid project environment.
n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Strong Excel skills — particularly VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
n
- Previous experience managing and guiding a team.
n
- Strong systems aptitude and ability to bring information together from different systems.
n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
n
- High energy and proactive.
n
- Strong communicator who can deal confidently with both customers and internal stakeholders.
n
- Able to investigate issues rather than simply process transactions.
n
- Customer-service oriented while still being persistent and commercially minded.
