Job Description

We are seeking experienced .NET Developers to join a project team delivering enhancements, improvements and modernisation across critical enterprise applications.

Please note: Candidates must hold an active NV1 security clearance prior to commencement.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), developing and enhancing C#-based, n-tier enterprise applications and associated documentation.
n
- Develop automated application build and deployment scripts using .NET Framework, modern .NET and the broader Microsoft technology stack.
n
- Develop backend solutions using Web API and SQL technologies.
n
- Follow Agile software development methodologies using tools including Azure DevOps.
n
- Develop well-designed, documented and testable code, including participating in peer reviews.
n
- Liaise with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate the rapid resolution of production issues and faults.
n
- Analyse complex technical issues and contribute to business improvement and change initiatives.
n
- Support stakeholder engagement across geographically dispersed teams.
n
- Provide specialist technical advice, guidance and reporting.
n
- Apply sound judgement and technical expertise when making and communicating decisions.
n
- Contribute to preparation and delivery activities within established readiness frameworks.
n
- Support continuous improvement, application modernisation and technology uplift initiatives.
n
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the relevant Director, Team Leader or delegate.

- Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methodologies and associated documentation.
n
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework and up-to-date .NET.
n
- Strong backend development experience using Web API and SQL technologies.
n
- Demonstrated experience across the full SDLC.
n
- Strong experience developing automated build and deployment scripts.
n
- Experience developing cloud-based applications.
n
- Experience working with Visual Studio.
n
- Ability to produce well-designed, documented and testable code.
n
- Experience conducting peer reviews of code, products and scripts.
n
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across geographically dispersed teams.
n
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to facilitate change and contribute to business improvement.
n
- Strong understanding of professional integrity and working within legislative and policy frameworks.
n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps and Miro or similar project collaboration tools.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
n
- Experience or the ability to quickly develop knowledge of Australian electoral law and practice.
n
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies.
n
- Experience in technical analysis and solution design.
n
- Experience implementing integration requirements and developing end-to-end solution designs.
n
