Job Description

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology program delivering complex cloud and infrastructure capabilities within a secure government environment.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with Azure, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation and cloud security, and wants to play a genuine role in building and improving cloud platforms.

n

You'll work across a broad technical workplace, helping design secure cloud foundations, automate deployments and improve how infrastructure and applications are delivered.

What you'll be working on:

n

n
- Designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure
n
- Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code
n
- Developing automated deployment and self-service capabilities
n
- Strengthening cloud security and governance
n
- Working across Azure DevOps and DevSecOps
n
- Supporting Linux-based environments and Java applications
n
- Implementing Azure security controls including RBAC, Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud
n
- Monitoring cloud environments, performance and utilisation
n




- Improving vulnerability management and security processes
n
- Working closely with architects, developers and technical stakeholders
n
- Contributing to Agile delivery and technical design
n
- Sharing knowledge and helping mature DevOps practices across the team
n

We're looking for someone with:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience working in DevOps environments, ideally across complex data or analytics platforms
n
- Experience developing and maintaining IaC using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell and/or YAML
n
- A strong understanding of cloud security, governance and automation
n
- The ability to work comfortably with both technical and senior stakeholders
n
- Experience working in highly secure or regulated environments
n
