The Role

n

XBURO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team based in the heart of Brisbane. As a member of our Building Services Engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional electrical engineering solutions for our diverse range of clients across Queensland.

n

Moreover, you will also be provided the opportunity to work with our Project Management team and assist in the delivery of some of Queensland's most iconic and technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities

n

Electrical building services design activities focused on LV power systems, lighting design, security, IT systems, dry fire detection and alarm systems.

n

Development of 2D and 3D electrical engineering drawings within the Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

n

Attend and chair project design meetings with clients to develop, discuss and provide safe, sustainable, and advanced engineering solutions.

n

Development of technical engineering documents including specifications and reports.

n





Assist our project management team in the delivery of a wide range of unique projects.

n

General project administration and document management.

n

Lead and mentor our graduate engineers

n

Skills and Experience

n

Be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or building services related field.

n

Be Chartered, Registered, or in the process of working towards.

n

Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit is desirable

n

Proficient in the use of electrical engineering design software such as, Dialux, PowerCAD, Agi32, etc.

n

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.

n

The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

n

Have excellent pride in your work with a high attention to detail and a great sense of urgency.

n

Have great organisational and communication skills with the ability to develop, manage and maintain great relationships with a diverse range of clients.
