Optima Press, located in Balcatta, is seeking an experienced and motivatedProduction Managerto join our team.

This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall administration, coordination and management of our production area — from planning and scheduling work through to ensuring the highest standards of quality are achieved in finished products.

The Role

- Managing and coordinating the day-to-day production operations
n
- Planning and scheduling work to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved
n
- Supervising production staff and effectively managing workflow
n
- Ensuring jobs are produced efficiently, accurately and to customer specifications
n
- Maintaining a strong focus on quality control and finished product standards
n
- Liaising and negotiating with colleagues, suppliers and customers
n
- Working closely with the sales, estimating and production teams
n
- Identifying and resolving production issues and implementing practical solutions
n
- Ensuring production processes are organised, efficient and cost-effective
n
- Managing production administration and maintaining accurate records
n

About You

n

We are looking for an experienced printing professional with:

n

n
- astrong background in the print industry
n




- Thorough working knowledge ofpre-press, offset and digital printing
n
- Comprehensive knowledge ofprint finishing processes
n
- Proven experience instaff management and supervision
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong time management and organisational skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple jobs and consistently meet deadlines
n
- Experience negotiating and building effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
n
- a strong commitment to producinghigh-quality finished work
n
- Excellent administrative and problem‐solving skills
n
- A positive, hands‐on approach and the ability to lead a team in a fast‐paced production setting
n
- Experience withPrintIQwould be advantageous but isnot essential.
