Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an initial short-term workshop prospect in Brisbane, followed by a long-term site-based project in Moree, NSW.

The opportunity
n
You will commence with approximately 21 days in a Brisbane workshop, completing maintenance and refurbishment work on heat exchangers. You will then transition to the Moree project on a 3:1 BIBO/DIDO roster.

- Approximately 21 days in the Brisbane workshop
n
- Transition to a 3:1 roster in Moree, NSW
n
- BIBO or DIDO from Brisbane
n
- 10-12-hour shifts
n
- Day shift with potential night shift
n
- Saturday work as required
n
- $58 per hour plus applicable penalties
n
- $120 per day LAHA while working away
n
- Accommodation provided in Moree
n

Requirements
n
n
- Australian-recognised Pipe Fitter or relevant mechanical/fabrication trade qualification
n
- Demonstrated industrial pipefitting experience
n
- Current Construction Safety Essentials (CSE)
n
- Current Working at Heights
n
- Current EWP/High Risk Work Licence
n
- Ability to work in the Brisbane workshop before transitioning to Moree
n
- Ability to travel and work away on a 3:1 roster
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
n
Previous experience with heat exchangers, industrial pipework, pipe spools, flange management, isometric drawings, oil and gas, shutdowns, mining, heavy industrial construction or plant installation will be highly regarded.
