Job Description

We're after an experienced Business Development Manager / Project Manager to lead our client growth and delivery in equal measure — someone equally comfortable opening doors with current clients as they are running a project through to a clean handover. This is a senior, largely autonomous role. You'll own the full cycle: identifying and winning new business, scoping and quoting solutions, and then managing delivery so what we sold is what we install.

Key responsibilities

- Identify, pursue, and win new business across healthcare, commercial, and education sectors
n
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads, tenders, and referral relationships
n
- Develop proposals, quotes, and tender responses for integrated security solutions (CCTV, access control, alarms, intercom, BMS integration)
n
- Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand scope
n
- Represent BASE 10 at industry events, client meetings, and site visits
n
- Work with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and targets
n
- Take ownership of projects from award through to completion and handover
n
- Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on time and on budget
n
- Manage project documentation, variations, and client communication throughout delivery
n
- Liaise with Gallagher and other technology partners on system design and integration

About you

n

n
- Proven experience in business development and/or project management electronic security, related trades/technical services industry
n
- A track record of winning and delivering commercial or institutional contracts
n
- Comfort reading and quoting technical scopes of work (security or building services background highly regarded)
n
- Strong relationship-building skills with the commercial instincts to close
n
- Solid project coordination skills — budgets, timelines, subcontractors, client expectations
