Receptionist – Full Time

Nursery Warehouse – Ourimbah, NSW Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

Nursery Warehouse is an online nursery based in Ourimbah and is looking for a friendly, confident and reliable Receptionist to join our team.

This is a full time Monday to Friday position suited to someone who enjoys dealing with people, can think on their feet and is comfortable working independently while also being part of a small team.

About the Role

As our Receptionist, you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers and will help keep the day to day operations of the business running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include

- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with customer enquiries
- Greeting customers and assisting them when they arrive to pick up their online orders
- Responding to general enquiries and directing customers to the right person
- Light administrative duties and general office support
- Using Shopify to look up orders, customer details and product information
- Assisting the team with day to day tasks as required
- Helping resolve customer enquiries and problems
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment
- Assisting truck drivers load and unload trucks of plants. Light lifting required

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident and skilled on the phone




- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is a good problem solver and willing to use initiative
- Can work independently without needing constant direction
- Works well as part of a team
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
- Is comfortable using computers and learning current systems
- Has a positive and helpful attitude
- Has some basic knowledge of plants, although this is helpful rather than essential

You will be required to use Shopify as part of your day to day role. Previous Shopify experience would be an advantage, however training can be provided. Previous reception, administration or customer service experience would be highly regarded, however the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn are just as important.

Hours & Employment

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Ourimbah, Central Coast NSW

This is a full time position, paid in accordance with the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2020 (MA000002).
