12-volt refrigeration | Hands-on technical role | Australian manufacturer

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic who enjoys fault finding, solving problems and being part of a hands-on team. About the role

This is a full-time role based at our brand-new Burpengary East headquarters, working 7:00am – 3:00pm.

Your responsibilities will include

- Diagnosing, fault finding and repairing portable fridge freezers
- Testing refrigeration and electrical systems to identify faults
- Liaising with our Service Agents to assist with repairs and technical enquiries
- Providing technical support to our customer service team and customers
- Identify common faults and product improvements
- Assisting with product testing and quality control
- Keeping service and repair records up to date
- Assisting our warehouse and production teams when required
- Unloading shipping containers and undertaking manual handling when needed
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area

Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for a practical, reliable refrigeration mechanic with strong fault-finding skills and a genuine willingness to learn.



To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Restricted Electrical (QLD) ticket
- Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARC)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills
- Strong hands on fabrication / materials capabilities
- Passion for product quality and testing
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn new products and skills
- Sound computer skills
- The ability to undertake manual lifting when required

Experience with 12V refrigeration, portable fridge freezers, automotive refrigeration or similar products will be highly regarded.
