The Role: As Regional Director, Australia , you will be responsible for building the Australian business, strengthening our market presence and developing the technical and commercial capability needed for long-term growth. You will combine strategic leadership with active involvement in clients, projects and people, working closely with Equilibrium's global leadership and technical specialists.

You will

Lead and Grow the Australian Business

- Lead Equilibrium's Australian growth strategy, market expansion and positioning
- Partner with global leadership to align strategy, resources and opportunities
- Oversee Australian operations and capability to support sustainable growth

Build Client Relationships and Market Presence

- Build trusted relationships with mining leaders and key industry stakeholders across Australia
- Lead strategic pursuits, client engagement, proposals and commercial opportunities
- Represent Equilibrium across the mining, engineering and professional communities
- Identify opportunities where Equilibrium's specialist capability can create value

Provide Technical Leadership

- Maintain technical involvement across complex projects
- Champion technical excellence, innovation and quality
- Collaborate with Equilibrium's global technical specialists
- Mentor engineers and support the development of future technical leaders
- Strengthen Equilibrium's technical reputation in the Australian market

Build a High-Performing Team

- Attract,



develop and retain exceptional technical professionals
- Build the Australian team and capability required for long-term growth

What We're Looking For: You are an experienced consulting leader who combines technical credibility, commercial acumen and a track record of developing clients, teams and businesses.

- 15+ years' experience in geotechnical engineering, mine waste, structural geology, hydrogeology, surface water or a related discipline
- A relevant degree; professional registration preferred
- A strong technical reputation and established relationships within the Australian mining industry
- Proven success in business development, client leadership and growing consulting capability
- Experience building high-performing teams and developing future technical and business leaders
- Strong commercial judgement, communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- The ability to identify opportunities, build trusted relationships and turn ideas into successful outcomes

Compensation & Perks: We expect that the salary package to be in the below range depending on experience, qualifications, and skills. The final compensation package will be determined based on the successful candidate's background and fit for the role.

- Australia $200,000 - $300,000 AUD per year + Superannuation + Bonus

Location: Equilibrium's Australian office is based in South Brisbane. For the right candidate, we are open to considering flexible arrangements, including remote-based candidates in other Australian locations, with regular travel to Brisbane to collaborate with the broader team and global leadership. You must have the ability and willingness to travel within Australia and internationally as required to support clients, projects and collaboration with Equilibrium teams.

Additional Requirements:

- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia where the position is based.
- Periodic domestic and/or international travel may be required for project assignments, meetings, training, client engagements, field investigations, and other business purposes, including travel to remote project and mine sites
- As the Employer operates globally, flexibility in work schedule may be required to support collaboration across different time zones
