Troocoo Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Midwife for a long-term agency placement within the Women's Health Unit at Mackay.

This is an excellent opportunity for a midwife with strong women's health, labour ward and birth suite experience to join a busy Hospital.

The Chance

- Position: Registered Midwife
- Grade: Grade 5
- Location: Mackay
- Unit: Women's Health Unit
- Placement: 1 position available
- Contract: 14 September 2026 – 10 January 2027
- Roster: As per roster
- Shifts: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts

Essential Experience To be considered for this placement, candidates must have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in women's health nursing/midwifery
- Labour Ward and Birth Suite experience – essential
- Current Registered Midwife registration with AHPRA
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required

Desirable Experience The following experience will be highly regarded:
- Knowledge and proficiency using ieMR
- Previous experience working within Australian healthcare
- Previous Queensland Health experience




- Previous experience within Mackay HHS
