Registered Nurse - Continence, Wound and Catheter Care
We are looking for a Registered Nurse able to provide continence assessments, wound care, and catheter management services, or a strong passion to learn and upskill in this specialty. This role is part of an ambitious and developing service that works across a national network of clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver care that feels unique to each client – because that’s how it should be.
About the role
Opportunity: Casual role, working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Work from Home: Conduct most administrative and Telehealth appointments (including report writing) from home, with travel required for in-home assessments. Please note: we cannot guarantee how many appointments will be Telehealth versus face-to-face — this depends on the nature of the referrals received.
Competitive Pay: Excellent hourly rate plus coverage for travel and tolls.
Strong Training & Support: Benefit from a comprehensive onboarding program, structured mentoring, and ongoing professional development to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.
Key Skills for Success
Extensive Report Writing: A large portion of this role is dedicated to producing in-depth continence assessments and subsequent report writing. This requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, grammar and report writing skills.
High-Level Communication & Empathy: You will be supporting clients through sensitive, personal discussions around continence and health. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust are essential.
Self-Discipline & Accountability: As this is a largely home-based role, you must be able to manage your workload independently, follow timelines, and consistently meet deadlines.
