Diamond Creek Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our friendly and professional team.
We are a well-established general practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community. We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about primary healthcare and enjoys working as part of a collaborative medical team.
About the Role The successful candidate will work closely with our GPs and practice team to provide high-quality nursing care and support the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients
- Assisting GPs with procedures and clinical assessments
- Immunisations and vaccination programs
- Wound care and dressing management
- Health assessments and care plans
- Chronic disease management and preventative health care
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Stock management and maintenance of clinical areas
- Infection prevention and control
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Providing patient education and health promotion
- Supporting the practice team with general clinical duties as required
About You We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is:
- AHPRA registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Experienced in general practice or primary healthcare (preferred)
- Qualified, reliable and compassionate
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Patient-focused with excellent communication skills
- Well organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care
- Comfortable working with doctors, nurses, reception staff and other healthcare professionals
