Registered Nurse – Urgent Care
Location: 2 Hours from Melbourne
Hours: 0.6fte-fulltime
Salary: Up to $54.41ph + Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging
Start Date: ASAP An exciting opportunity is available for an RN to join the Urgent Care Centre at a highly regarded rural health service in regional Victoria.
Operating 24/7, the Urgent Care Centre provides emergency and urgent care services to the local community, you will gain exposure to a broad range of presentations while developing your emergency nursing skills in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
The Role
- Work across a rotating 24/7 roster - day, afternoon and night shifts
- Assess, manage and monitor a diverse range of emergency and urgent care presentations
- Assist with wound management, minor trauma, fractures and emergency stabilisation
- Chance to further develop triage, assessment and emergency nursing skills
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ Years ED or Urgent Care experience
- ALS
Desirable
- Triage experience
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing
- Rural or regional nursing experience
