About the role
Health Nexus Launcearon' is seeking experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and growing healthcare team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within our busy medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Providing direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring
- Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
- Administering medications and injections according to protocols
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Coordinating the flow of patients and ensuring effective clinic operations
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- Participating in the ongoing professional development and training of the nursing team
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a general medical or surgical nursing role would be preferred but we are happy to invest in the right candidate
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, collaborative environment
