Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 13 September 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $37.28 - $38.44 per hour

Tumour Bank, Kolling Institute, Royal North Shore Hospital

What you'll be doing

This Research Administration Assistant works with the Senior Tumour Bank Officer and provides support for the administrative activity of the Kolling Institute Tumour Bank. Its primary area of work is in data entry of specimen-related details, along with data corrections, reporting, and data quality audits by maintaining accurate, reliable, and complete data. Strategic decisions related to the Tumour Bank are managed by the Tumour Bank Management Committee.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated administrative experience, particularly in a research and/or health environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience using electronic medical record (eMR) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of varied professionals, as well as independently under general direction.
