Your Role:

As a Rescue Paramedic, you'll be at the forefront of emergency response, providing high-quality medical treatment as part of our emergency rescue team providing rescue support for the client.

The intent of this position is to deliver high standard medical treatment and to execute clinical functions to assess, treat, triage and where required evacuate patients from site to the most appropriate medical facility in accordance with state legislative requirement and in consultation with required parties as identified by the Client.

? Location: Blackwater/Emerald, Central QLD

? Roster: 7 on / 7 off rotation

? Employment Type: Full Time and Casual Positions Available

? Travel Type:FIFO (Brisbane to Emerald return) or DIDO for locals

? Salary Package:Up to circa $169,000.00 Per Annum (Inclusive Base + Super)

? Qualifications: The Certificate 3 in Emergency Response & Rescue is a core competency of this position, and so only those with this qualification will be contacted for interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

- Emergency Response – Provide advanced assessment, treatment and stabilisation of medical emergencies and injuries.
- Clinical Care – Manage work and non-work-related presentations within CPAHM clinical guidelines and scope of practice.
- Patient Escalation – Coordinate QAS response, medical consultation and patient evacuation when required.
- Clinical Governance – Maintain accurate documentation and comply with CPAHM clinical, medication and legislative requirements.
- Clinic Readiness – Maintain medications, equipment, consumables and emergency response capability.
- Injury Management – Support early intervention, injury assessment and return-to-work processes.
- Health & Safety Support – Provide clinical advice to site HSE teams and management when required.
- Emergency Preparedness – Participate in emergency response drills, exercises and site readiness activities.
- Health Promotion – Provide education and advice on health, wellbeing and injury prevention.
- Stakeholder Liaison – Work collaboratively with site personnel, emergency response teams, QAS and external health providers.




- Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing services in accordance with the clients Safety Management System.
- Adhere to company policies, clinical protocols, and procedures at all times.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience: Please provide the following documents with your resume application, or immediately post interview

- Bachelor of Paramedical Science (or equivalent)
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Current Manual C Class Driver’s License
- UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a Live LV Panel
- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid
- HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy
- HLTPAT005 or HLTPAT010 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Successful completion of CPA H&M; clinical scenario assessment – This is an internal assessment completed as part of the recruitment process
- Immunisation for Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus - must currently hold, or be able to obtain with 3 months of commencement
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate - must currently hold, or be able to obtain with 3 months of commencement
- Proof of working rights in Australia (Visa, Passport or Birth Certificate)

Certificate III in Emergency Response Rescue (r equivalent) - Minimum electives to be completed:
- RIIERR201 - Conduct fire team operations
- PUAFIR207 - Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
- PUASAR024 - Undertake Road Crash Rescue
- PUASAR025 - Undertake Confined Space Rescue
- PUASAR032 - Undertake Vertical Rescue
- PUAFIR320 - Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe

Desired Characteristics:

- Continuous education demonstrating proficiency in emergency management techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong consultation, negotiation,



and conflict resolution abilities.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in critical environments.
- Willingness to undergo periodic training to maintain competency levels.
