Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Research Assistant to support research projects through effective data collection, analysis, documentation, and reporting. The role involves working closely with researchers and project teams to gather reliable information, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of research outputs.

Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews and background research using academic databases, journals, reports, and other credible sources; collecting, organising, cleaning, and analysing qualitative or quantitative data; assisting with surveys, interviews, experiments, fieldwork, or other research activities as required; preparing research notes, summaries, tables, charts, and presentations; maintaining accurate research documentation and databases; supporting the preparation of research reports, papers, proposals, and presentations; verifying sources and checking data for accuracy and consistency; monitoring project timelines and research deliverables; and collaborating with team members to ensure research activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.





The Research Assistant will also contribute to identifying relevant information and emerging findings, communicating observations clearly, and supporting continuous improvement of research methods and processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline such as Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Science, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and information-gathering skills.
- Ability to conduct literature searches and evaluate the credibility and relevance of sources.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets.
- Familiarity with statistical, qualitative, or research software is an advantage.
- Ability to organise large amounts of information systematically.
- Robust critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with researchers and project teams.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- High standards of academic integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
