? Executive Search Researcher / Candidate Manager - Government

? Sydney | $100,000–$110,000 + super | Four or five days per week

We are partnering with a highly successful executive search firm to appoint a Researcher / Candidate Manager to support one of its leading Partners.

Working across retained executive appointments within NSW, VIC, QLD and broader Australian government markets, you will help manage an active portfolio of high-quality searches. Most appointments are at the $200,000+ level, with many offering executive packages of approximately $500,000.

This is a delivery-focused position with no business development, fee-generation or job-origination expectations. Instead, you will play a central role in ensuring each search is thoroughly researched and professionally managed from briefing through to shortlist.

Your responsibilities will include

- Conducting targeted candidate research and market mapping
- Managing LinkedIn searches and location-specific advertising campaigns
- Reviewing and assessing applications
- Engaging and communicating with prospective candidates
- Coordinating competency and psychometric assessments
- Managing search administration, timelines and documentation
- Supporting stakeholder communication throughout the process
- Participating in client briefings where appropriate




- Completing the initial candidate assessment before Partner interviews The successful person will be bright, organised and an excellent communicator, with the confidence to engage senior candidates and manage multiple retained assignments simultaneously.

You may already be working as an Executive Search Researcher, Candidate Manager, Recruitment Consultant or Delivery Consultant and be looking for a role that offers exposure to genuinely senior appointments without the pressure of business development or individual billing targets.

The prospect would also suit an experienced recruiter returning to the workforce who is seeking a structured, intellectually engaging role with stable hours.
