We are seeking an experienced Residential Custom Home Site Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of high-quality custom residential projects from construction through to completion.

This is a hands-on site-based role suited to an experienced residential builder who is highly organised, quality-focused and confident coordinating trades, suppliers and subcontractors. You will be responsible for ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations and coordination of residential construction sites.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers and deliveries.
- Plan and sequence works to ensure projects remain on programme.
- Monitor site progress and identify potential delays or issues early.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure defects are identified and rectified promptly.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, design schedules and construction documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, consultants and relevant authorities throughout the build.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised site.
- Implement and monitor WHS requirements, site safety procedures and compliance.
- Manage site inductions and ensure subcontractors comply with site rules and safety requirements.
- Coordinate materials and ensure required products are available when needed.
- Liaise regularly with the Project team, clients, designers and consultants.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, upcoming works, variations, delays and potential issues.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, photographs and relevant construction documentation.




- Assist with managing variations and ensure additional works are properly documented and approved.
- Manage the finishing and handover stages, including defect identification, rectification and final completion.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with trades and subcontractors.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and project stakeholders.

About You

The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Foreman within residential construction.
- Strong experience delivering custom or high-end residential homes.
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant residential construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing and building practices.
- Experience with scheduling & programming of residential construction projects from site set up to completion.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and construction documentation.
- Experience using construction management or project management software.
- Excellent trade and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach to construction.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and site compliance.
- Current White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- Relevant building/construction qualifications
