About the role

Poolwerx is Australia's largest franchised Pool and Spa care network of retail stores and mobile vans. We are looking for a Full Time Pool & Spa Service Technician and a Casual Retail Assistant to join our agile fast-growing Poolwerx Cranbourne & Dandenong Team. Key responsibilities

- Cleaning of residential swimming pools and spas
- Expertly diagnosing and fixing equipment issues
- Testing and treating water to ensure optimal water chemistry
- Professional installation, maintenance, and repair of high-performance pool equipment, including pumps, filtration systems, chlorinators and automated pool cleaners
- Perform basic marketing activities while in field
- Organise and manage stock as required

About you

- Take pride in your work and have high attention to detail
- Willingness to learn with technical aptitude
- Be punctual, reliable and able to work unsupervised
- Be physically fit as manual labour and lifting are performed daily (for techs only)
- Have great problem solving and time management skills
- Be well presented, friendly and have good communication skills
- Enjoy the outdoors and engaging with customers
- Have a current driver's license
- Be able to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities

Key functions of our Technician role includes:

- Cleaning of residential swimming pools and spas
- Expertly diagnosing and fixing equipment issues

- Perform basic marketing activities while in field
- Organise and manage stock

Key functions of our Retail Assistant role includes:

- Excellent customer service
- Perform on-the-spot water tests and prescribe accurate chemicals as per report
- Guide customers on pool & spa care, troubleshooting and drive store sales
- Order, unpack, manage and keep shelves stocked
- Identify and sell replacement equipment and accessories
- Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing shop
