About the Opportunity

Water Dynamics is now seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to join our high performing team in Mt Gambier.

The role will see you responsible for the receiving, handling, and dispatch of goods in the store and warehouse and providing a high level of customer service assisting with over-the-counter sales, answering phone calls, customer enquiries and liaising with suppliers to accommodate customer requirements. You will take ownership of your portfolio and designated area.

A more detailed responsibility of the role includes, but is not limited to:

- Loading and unloading deliveries from transport companies
- Check off inbound deliveries as they are received, ensuring we have received the correct products and quantities, contacting suppliers with any variations & receipting into our ERP-LN system
- Pick & pack goods for sales orders, projects & service jobs
- Wrap, strap and pack all outgoing orders so they will be received in worthy condition despatching to customers, via freight such as TNT, STARTRACK
- Inventory stocktake, including monthly cycle counts, investigation of variances and adjustments as required
- Respond to service requests and repair products using diagnostic tools and skills for pump repairs (as required)
- Stock management and re-ordering of stock items via our TPOP ordering system
- Cash handling and end of day duties with p.o.s. (point of sales) over the counter system
- General housekeeping of the warehouse & store area keeping it clean and presentable

About You A team player who is willing to learn and develop their product knowledge. A friendly demeanour with a pleasant customer service approach is vital for this position. To be considered for this role, you will possess:

- Current & Valid Driver’s Licence,



Forklift ticket or willingness to obtain.
- Irrigation and agricultural knowledge (desirable but not essential)
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Outlook)
- Demonstrated safety first mindset and a desire to develop a long-standing career within the Water Dynamics business
- Strong customer service ethic with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ability to work without supervision
- Be physically fit due to some heavy lifting involved
- High level of attention to detail and customer service
- Monday - Friday 7:30-5:00, with occasional Saturday alternate work roster.
