A fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working on the configuration and implementation of a large-scale digital transformation program.You will work as part of a collaborative delivery team supporting the design, configuration, testing, and integration of a new electronic court management system for the Department of Justice.You will be guided by experienced business analysts and implementation specialists to develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, contributing to the successful delivery of creative digital solutions for Tasmania's justice system.

Period of Appointment

Fixed Term - 36 Months

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight- flexible options available.

Duties

- Assist in the configuration of software solutions, including designing and building screens, defining codes, business rules, and workflows, and generating document templates.
- Work closely with senior business analysts and project staff to define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs.
- Participate in workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of solution documentation, including configuration specifications, test plans, and user reference materials.
- Assist with testing activities such as preparing test data, executing test cases, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to the analysis of data for migration, integration, and reporting purposes.
- Help identify and resolve configuration and data-related issues through investigation and root cause analysis.
- Assist in preparing written communications such as project updates, issue logs, and documentation for internal and external audiences.




- Participate in quality assurance activities and configuration audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of configured solutions.
- Support the preparation and delivery of end-user training and help resources.
- Carry out other duties within the capacity and qualifications of the position, as required.
- Have graduated with a minimum of a three-year undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the last three years.
- Qualifications should be in an ICT, information systems, business, or related discipline.
- Exposure to ICT, business systems analysis, or software configuration coursework.
- Familiarity with business process mapping, data analysis, or solution testing.
- Understanding of Agile or iterative project delivery methodologies.
