Your Day to Day

As a Club Lounge Attendant , you'll be responsible for delivering personalised service and ensuring our Club Lounge guests enjoy an exceptional and memorable experience.

- Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction remains your top priority
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a personalised, luxury experience throughout their stay
- Recognise IHG One Rewards members, VIPs, and returning guests, providing special attention and service
- Ensure all Club Lounge, food and beverage, and Front Office service standards are consistently maintained
- Set up, prepare, and close the Club Lounge in accordance with operational standards
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the Club Lounge throughout the day
- Serve food and beverages in line with hotel standards and specifications




- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of menu offerings, beverages, hotel facilities, and local attractions
- Assist guests with enquiries and ensure all requests are followed through to completion
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with hotel standards when required
- Meet and greet VIP guests and escort them to the Club Lounge as appropriate
- Promote hotel services and identify opportunities to upsell room categories, dining experiences, and hotel facilities
- Process financial transactions accurately and follow all cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and maintain high presentation standards
- Wash, polish, and maintain glassware, crockery, cutlery, and equipment to the highest standard
- Support the training and onboarding of new team members where required
- Attend departmental meetings, briefings, and training sessions
- Communicate guest feedback, operational issues, and service opportunities to leaders in a timely manner
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues across all hotel departments
- Complete ad-hoc duties as required to support the successful operation of the hotel

What We Need From You

- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality,



food and beverage, guest relations, or customer service role is highly regarded
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, qualified, and confident approach when interacting with guests
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with care and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is highly regarded
- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience is advantageous
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification in Victoria
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia
