Join CBRE in a key operational risk role supporting the day-to-day coordination, monitoring and reporting of our Australian Financial Services Licence compliance framework.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure our AFSL processes, registers, training and governance requirements remain accurate, current and audit ready.
Key responsibilities will include
- Coordinating the onboarding, annual declarations and ongoing compliance requirements of authorised representatives
- Maintaining AFSL registers and records across transactions, training, incidents, complaints, breaches and compliance actions
- Supporting transaction teams with AFSL governance, documentation, AML/KYC and due diligence requirements
- Coordinating quarterly compliance reporting, audits, reviews and assurance activities
- Acting as a practical point of contact for AFSL queries while supporting continuous improvement of guidance, templates and procedures
About you
- You will be an organised and detail-oriented risk or compliance professional who enjoys coordinating across multiple stakeholders and turning regulatory requirements into clear, practical processes.
- You will ideally bring:
- Experience in compliance, risk, governance, legal operations, financial services administration or a related operational support role
- Strong organisational skills with experience maintaining accurate records, registers,
trackers and reporting evidence
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working within regulatory, governance and document control requirements
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement and a willingness to escalate potential compliance concerns
- Knowledge of AFSL obligations, ASIC expectations, the Corporations Act 2001, AML/KYC processes or Capital Markets transactions will be highly regarded
