Valley Motor Group is seeking an experienced Roadworthiness Technician / Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) to join our team.

This role will primarily focus on Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) inspections and used vehicle reconditioning, ensuring vehicles meet Victorian roadworthiness requirements and our dealership standards.

The Role

- Conduct Victorian Roadworthy Certificate inspections
- Complete all required LVT documentation accurately and compliantly
- Inspect, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Identify and rectify items required to achieve roadworthy standards
- Assist with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
- Conduct road tests and confirm repair quality
- Work with our workshop and sales teams to achieve efficient vehicle turnaround

About You

- Current Victorian Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) accreditation – essential




- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Experience conducting Roadworthy Certificate inspections
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
