The Opportunity & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Room Leader for our Pre Kinder age group to join our team at Aspire Ashbury.

Working closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team, you will lead your room, mentor educators and deliver high quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading the daily operations of the Pre Kinder room
- Developing and implementing engaging, age appropriate learning programs
- Building robust relationships with children, families and the wider team
- Supporting, mentoring and guiding educators within the room
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, NQS, Child Safe Standards and Aspire practices
- Supporting children's learning, development and transition through the early years
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and supportive centre culture

About You





- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved qualification
- Proven experience as a Room Leader, ideally within a Pre Kinder age group
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
- Ability to confidently lead, inspire and support a team
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Passion for delivering high quality early learning and care
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
