RTO COMPLIANCE & EXPERIENCE MANAGER

Own Compliance, Governance and Student Experience Across Two RTOs 100% Remote | Full-time

Clean Health Group is seeking a sharp, compliance-savvy RTO Compliance & Experience Manager to own governance support, regulatory compliance and learner experience across two nationally recognised training organisations under the one brand — the Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) and VAST Nutrition Academy. This is a hands-on role where audit-readiness meets genuine care for student outcomes.

The Role

You will take ownership of governance support, regulatory compliance and data integrity across both brands, while acting as the single accountable owner for learner complaints, appeals and support matters from lodgement through to a documented, closed outcome. Reporting to the Chief Product & Experience Officer, you’ll prepare governance material for executive review and hold full ownership of the governance risk register,



while day-to-day refund and cooling-off execution stays with our Student Experience team — so you can stay focused on compliance and case resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Governance & Audit Readiness: Build and maintain the governance risk register, prepare reporting packs ahead of governance meetings, and coordinate internal and external audit preparation so evidence is current and available on request at all times.
- Validation Independence: Provide independent oversight of validator and assessor judgements, kept separate from validation scheduling, as a segregation-of-duties control.
- Complaints, Appeals & Student Support: Own the complaints and appeals registers end-to-end — investigation, root cause analysis, trend reporting, and documented closure — treating every student concern as a formal risk input worth tracking properly.
- Data Integrity: Own AVETMISS data accuracy and reconciliation, and monitor qualification/certification issuance so students receive what they’ve earned promptly.
- Marketing & Third-Party Compliance: Review and sign off on all student-facing marketing and enrolment communications, and maintain the third-party agreements and document control registers.
- Continuous Improvement:



Drive a live projects and continuous improvement register — practical, measurable process improvements, not just paperwork.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Proven experience in RTO compliance or governance, with working knowledge of the ASQA Standards for RTOs.
- A structured, investigative approach to complaints and case management, with the judgement to escalate early and close things out properly.
- Strong data integrity and reporting skills, ideally including hands-on AVETMISS experience.
- The independence to exercise sound judgement on validator and compliance matters without conflict of interest.
- Excellent stakeholder management — you’ll work closely with Marketing, Finance, and the Student Experience team to get things done without getting stuck in red tape.
