- Genuine Career Progression Opportunities
Humans of Agriculture is proud to partner with Action Steel to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join their team in Stawell, Western Victoria.
About Action Steel
Action Steel is a third-generation, family-owned steel fabrication business specialising in large-scale agricultural sheds and infrastructure. Established in 2001, the business has grown from a small local operation into a trusted supplier to livestock and cropping enterprises across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
Their focus is firmly on agriculture, working with some of Australia's leading agricultural operators to deliver infrastructure that supports the way their businesses operate and grow.
About the Opportunity The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Action Steel’s sales team and delivering a professional, responsive customer experience from the first point of contact. Acting as the link between customers, the sales team and project teams, the role will ensure opportunities are qualified, information is accurate, follow-up is consistent and projects continue progressing.
Initially, the Sales Coordinator will focus on learning the business, systems, products and customers, while shadowing experienced Senior Consultants at customer meetings, site visits and industry events. As their knowledge and confidence develops, they will progressively take ownership of selected opportunities and customer relationships. For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway into a Senior Consultant position and a long-term career in agricultural sales.
HoA Key Takeaway:
After spending a day on-site with the team at Action Steel,
our key takeaway was how the business is underpinned by a truly admirable company culture. Their company values aren’t just stuck up on a wall in the office, they are demonstrated, recognised, and celebrated in the daily tasks and work of each team member, from welders, to sales, to the CEO.
They have built a team of accomplished professionals who aren’t just successful in their role, but as a collective. We were genuinely inspired by some of their practices and have even taken a few ideas back to try within our own team!
Action Steel believes in putting the right person in the room, trusting people to do what they do best and leaving ego at the door.
Enjoy the best of both worlds, the connection and accessibility of a family-owned business, combined with the scale, ambition and prospect of a growing national operation.
