Who you are
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and eager sales executive to drive sales and achieve goals within the corporate and leisure markets for our hotel. You are someone who is confident to implement strategic sales plans, can build new/ existing strong client relationships and think outside the box when it comes to driving sales. This role will have guidance and support working closely with our Associate Director of Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Manage market segments as per requirements
- Maintain face-to-face client calls
- Achieve monthly budgeted room nights and revenue in your segments
- Monitor account productivity on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Handle incoming enquiries
- Source repeat and new business within the corporate and leisure market segments
- Maintain and nurture existing key accounts
- Undertake site inspections
- Administrative tasks such as preparing and signing client contracts and tenders
- Monitor market and competitor activity
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and events
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in hotel management, business, marketing or a related field
- Previous experience working in hotel or hospitality environment highly desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Solid work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using Opera Cloud highly desirable
