Sales Merchandiser – Major Grocery

VIC Inner South (Southland – Elsternwick) & CBD

2YR Part Time Contract | Working 26 hours per week

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Merchandiser who thrives on building relationships, upselling the promotional plan and delivering results across Major Grocery channels.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Take full ownership of your territory and growth targets
- Sell in promotional activity and drive incremental volume
- Negotiate additional displays and off-location opportunities
- Ensure strong range compliance and in-store execution
- Build and influence relationships with Store & Grocery Managers
- Identify gaps, upsell around key events, and unlock new opportunities
- Plan your week strategically to maximise sales impact
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1-2+ year’s experience in FMCG sales, retail sales or merchandising within Grocery/Independents
- Strong selling, negotiation and objection-handling capability
- Results-driven and target motivated
- Resilient and confident dealing with different buyer personalities
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Tech confident (email, Excel, basic CRM)
- Someone who lives in or close to Melbourne CBD or the inner-south suburbs.
