NGK Stanger Pty Ltd is a established Australian manufacturer and supplier of high quality transmission and distribution outdoor switchgear equipment. For many years, we have partnered with electricity utilities, contractors and distributors throughout Australia and Current Zealand, delivering innovative, reliable and industry-leading switching solutions.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working closely with our Engineering, Production and Logistics teams, you will play a key role in strengthening existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Australian and New Zealand electricity supply industry.

Frequent interstate travel is an essential part of this position.

About the Role

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

•Managing and growing relationships with electricity utilities, contractors, distributors and key industry stakeholders.

•Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the transmission and distribution market.

•Preparing quotations, commercial proposals and tender submissions.

•Delivering technical product presentations and demonstrations.

•Providing customers with technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.

•Working collaboratively with Engineering, Production and Logistics to ensure successful project delivery.

•Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, customer records and market intelligence.

•Representing NGK Stanger at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.

You will promote an extensive range of industry-leading products, including:

•Air Break Switches (ABS)

•Manual and Remote Controlled Gas Switches (LBS)





•Pole Mounted Switchgear

•Distribution Network Switching Solutions

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

•Experience in technical sales, account management or business development.

•An Electrical, Mechanical or Power Engineering background.

•Knowledge of the Australian electricity utility industry or related infrastructure sectors.

•Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

•Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

•A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational and time management skills.

•The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.

•A current Australian Driver's Licence.

•Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be highly regarded but are not essential for candidates with relevant industry experience.
