Selection Criteria

SC1 Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role. Experience with school enviornment (Cases21 Platform, or similar) an advantage. SC2 Demonstrated capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.

SC3 Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively in a team environment, including high level oral and written communication skills.

SC4 Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.

SC5 Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area.

SC6 A commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.

Role

Offering administrative support to a variety of stakeholders. With primary responsibilities to student and family facing administration tasks.

Location Profile

Miners Rest Primary School is located approximately 10km north-west of Ballarat and sits within one of the region¿s fastest-growing communities. Established in the mid-19th century, our school proudly combines a rich history with a forward-thinking approach to education, creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for students, staff and families. We are excited to offer the prospect to join our dedicated administration team commencing Term 4 2026 in the capacity of School Administration Support.

We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive team member to join our school administration team for Term 4.

This role is offered at 25 hours per week, with attendance across 4 or 5 days.

Term 4 is a busy and exciting time in the school calendar, and this role provides a wonderful opportunity to engage with many facets of school life. Working across reception, student and staff support, finance and general administration, the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school.

Once application close, we look to host interviews during Week of Monday 14th September with view of onboarding as soon as possible from Monday 5 October 2026.
