Limited tenure (leave replacement) 14 September 2026 - 14 September 2027 30.4 hours per week, 0.8 FTE working term time only 4 days per week, 8.00am - 4.36pm The College is seeking a qualified and experienced School Counsellor to support our students across the College. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other members of the Pastoral Care team to provide specialised assistance in regard to individual counselling, liaison and case management, referrals to external professionals/agencies as well as providing advice and resources for teachers and parents.
The successful candidate will
- have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- be willing to actively promote the Catholic ethos and mission of the College
- have experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions
- demonstrate the ability to participate and embrace a team approach to child/adolescent wellbeing
- exercise discretion and maintain high ethical standards
