So what's the gig?

We’re chasing an experienced Screw Pile Operator who can run excavators, trucks, and supporting gear to install screw piers safely, accurately, and efficiently.

You’ll be on-site, getting stuck into real work; installing piles, reading plans, recording torque and depth, and working with a team that takes pride in high-quality outcomes.

If you’re the type who loves clean installs, tight tolerances, and a job done properly; this one’s for you.

What you'll be doing

- Driving HR/MR vehicles to and from construction sites across Greater Sydney
- Operating excavators to install screw piles and pre-drill holes
- Reading site plans and setting out accurate pier placement
- Monitoring installs to make sure everything meets spec
- Recording torque readings, pier depths, and site conditions
- Moving materials and supporting site operations as needed
- Daily pre-starts, checks, and basic maintenance so the gear stays reliable
- Working closely with supervisors and the crew to keep things running smooth
- Following safety systems and wearing PPE (no shortcuts here)

The kind of person we're after

- HR licence with experience on Sydney roads.
- Proven experience running excavators, trucks,



and construction machinery
- Confident reading plans and working to set-out points
- Sharp eye for detail and takes pride in quality work
- Reliable with paperwork and job reporting (depths, torque, assessments)
- Safety-focused and doesn’t take risks for the sake of speed
- Versatile and happy to do overtime when the job demands it
- Valid driver’s licence + relevant tickets/certifications
- Solid communicator and problem solver; doesn’t panic when things get tricky

Entry / developing operator - $83,000–$88,000 + super Experienced excavator / construction installer - $91,000–$96,000 + super

Strong screw piling or multi-skilled operator - $98,000–$110,000 + super
