The Position

- Develop, manage and support a team of sea freight professionals

- Manage customer escalations and relationship building

- Seek potential upsell opportunities, client visits included

- Oversee the daily activities of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and KPI's are met

- Ensure profits are maximised and team productivity is achieved on all jobs

- Monitor teams' performance and report to senior management

- Provide necessary training & assess and introduce procedures to improve efficiencies

- Provide solutions and encourage a focussed team environment

The Requirements

- Proven success in a senior operations role with an international freight forwarder





- Excellent organisational and relationship management skills

- Direct customer engagement experience

- Complete understanding of Australian regulatory requirements

- Become a key motivator of the team

- Fulltime working rights within Australia
