Role Description This full-time Insurance Professional role is based in Townsville, QLD in a hybrid working model, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility to work from home. In this role, the Insurance Skilled will support clients with risk assessment, policy placement, and coverage reviews, ensuring their insurance solutions are aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include managing client accounts, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating with underwriters and insurers, and responding to client inquiries in a timely, service-oriented manner.

The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation,



assisting with claims support, and contributing to internal reporting and process improvement initiatives. Collaboration with colleagues across the Marsh Pacific network is expected to deliver consistent, high-quality service and to identify opportunities for client growth and retention.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, including an understanding of policy structures, coverage terms, and market practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance, including basic financial analysis, premium calculation, and the ability to interpret business and risk-related financial information.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build client relationships, manage expectations, and present complex information clearly.
- Relevant experience in commercial or personal lines insurance, broking, underwriting, or risk advisory is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in documentation and compliance processes.
- Proficiency with standard office software and insurance systems; experience with CRM or policy administration platforms is an advantage.
- Formal qualifications in insurance, finance, business, or a related discipline, or progress toward industry certifications (e.g., ANZIIF or equivalent), are desirable.
