An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically robust Senior Accountant to join a multinational organisation in a broad and highly visible role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of balance sheet integrity, project accounting, CapEx management and audit readiness while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

This position offers a unique blend of technical financial accounting and hands-on project accounting responsibilities, making it ideal for a commercially minded finance professional looking to broaden their exposure within a complex corporate environment.

Your new role

- Support the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
- Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet through the preparation and review of reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial oversight across business projects, including cost tracking, forecasting and capital investment activities.
- Assist with the accounting treatment of complex transactions and prepare supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory reporting, tax compliance obligations and external audit requirements.
- Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Monitor fixed asset, lease and capital expenditure activities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.




- Collaborate with both local and offshore finance teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls and improve financial reporting capabilities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic finance initiatives as required.

What you'll need to succeed
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Previous experience in a Senior Accountant position within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical financial accounting principles.
- Experience supporting project accounting, capital expenditure management and financial reporting activities.
- Proven ability to manage balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large ERP systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Big 4 trained candidates with subsequent commercial experience are highly regarded.
